Now the light decays,
Everything I've felt… in vain
Hurts more than the first.
My soul shattered once more.
I thought you'd quench my thirst,
Be the one that I'd adore.
I'm tired of opening up,
And then falling.
I'm sick of falling in love,
But then failing.
Why couldn't it have been me?
Whom you'd share your enamoring?
Why couldn't it have been me?
All I've dreamt amounts to nothing.
I know I'm shy,
But why did I hesitate?
My hope's been dashed away,
Now once again there's hate.
What is wrong with me?
Why do I let love pass by?
What is it that keeps me sane?
Why don't you love me?!

My 8th poem, and first of 2010. Not exactly starting out good. Take it as is... I don't really want to write a discription right now... maybe later. I just don't wanna talk about it...

This is probably my saddest poem... or at least in my eyes it is. I hope I don't bum anyone out. This was completely inspired by recent events in my life... not gonna be talking about what though. I hope you like it, any comments or suggestions are welcome.

That person who seems to have completely denied that narrator does not see his true colors, to just give him up like that without considering how he is. :/
